one of my friends was riding w/ me the other night and when we got out of the car i noticed the top of his shoe was wet. i had also smelled a nasty fish-like smell the night before (i honestly thought i ran over something dead). sure enough, i checked the passenger side floor mat and it was wet w/ coolant.

anyways, i'm ordering a new one from z1. i temporarily bypassed it last night using 3/4" ID heater hose. at least it happened during the summer not winter but this is one DIY i've never wanted to do!

well it is pretty much just a pain in the butt. it can be done on a z w/out removing the dash so that is probably the route i'll take.

thats crappy, removing the dash on a Z too is NO FUN. You gonna do it yourself? or have a mechanic do it?

then how do you plan on getting it out? you should invest in a nissan service manual.
