Well i pulled my plugs to see it there was anything wrong with them and there is oil on the threads but not on the electrod. I bet this is whats causing the misfire code. But were would i be coming from? Blow by? I think it's leaking from the valve cover seals and falling down into the hole. Bueace there was also oil on the plug wir itself at the bottom there it plugs intot he top of the head

My spark plug tube seals were leaking...I didn't have any oil on the threads or electrodes. It shouldn't pass into the cylinders at all.

no it shouldnt...maybe on the top porcelain but not all the way down the threads...sounds to me like you have ring seal issues man. you might wanna do a leak down test and see if your rings are holding.

Well hear what i'm thinking. When i pulled the wire boot off of the plug there was alittle oil on it. So i'm thinking it was leaking from the top with a small puddle ont he top of the plug, Then when i was taking it out it started moving its way doen the thread because they were now exposed. Either way i'm going to repleace all gasket / seals and seats.

How do you perform a leak down test. I was about to buy a compression tester the other day might buy one tonight.

replace the spark plug tube seals, then go from there, if its still leaking oil, then do a leakdown test

i said a leak down test...not a comp. test...a comp test would probably fool you because if theres oil on top of your pistons...youll likely have better seal. whereas a leakdown test will blow it past the rings if they arent seating.
