couple of codes on my buddys civic... he wants me to take a look at it so he doesnt have to go to the dealer. if you can give me some help i can tell him what needs to be done! The cel came on about a month ago.
between then and now, hes had a full tune-up and transmission fluid changed. the mechanic also reset the cel. last wednesday, the light came back on and he got the codes pulled. p0700 = Transmission Control System Malfunction p0715 = Input / Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction thanks guys! |

sounds like the A/T control unit is having problems, look in the wiring schematics and see if the wiring doesnt have a short somewhere or if the unit is bad itself. seems like the 1st code has something to do with the 2nd one.
