just curious as to how much a tire should weigh (with no wheel).. a 17" low-pro tire.. i'm just trying to estimate the weight of my wheels.. I put them on a scale with the tires mounted and they were like 45lbs... fucking heavy if you ask me.. so I was just wondering how much a tire alone would weigh.. anyone know?

Yeah I searched for the wheels online and couldn't really find anything that had useful info about them.. so I have total weight so I thought if I could estimate the weight of the tires subtract that from the total weight then I'd have an idea of how much my wheels weigh.. seem kinda heavy to me.. but then again they are chrome..

Tire Rack usually has tire weights posted up in the tire specifications section- if you can't find it there, just email/call the tire manufacturer. They'd be more than happy to tell you how much just the tire weighs.
