a few days ago i put a head gasket on and got my head checked out and everything seemed fine, but now my motors makin an awful tickin sound. it wont stay started hardly and it aint got no power. i was lookin for some answers as to what could be wrong...i didnt know if it could be a lifter or a rocker or what but its pissin me off.

the ticking def means theres a leak.. As for the lack in power i dont know. If this was your only gasket changed I cant pinpoint anything else than to replace it again.

When I replaced my head(er) on my car to a 4-1 I had a leak at the flange.. Lost power,Played with it and cured it. (different scenario though)

have you done a compression test since you've changed the head gasket?

i did also put a dc sports 4-2-1 header on when i put the new head gasket on. maybe something is wrong with that. i dont know.

sounds like timing to me. Did you make sure when you put the timing belt on everything was lined up? Did you do a manual 6 turn on the crank to see if everything was still lined up?
