i left the engine on the other day without driving it, it was just on for music purposes. it was on for about 30 mins. to an hour just sitting there with the system full blast. All of a sudden my engine started overheating, i looked at the temperature and it was on high. i turned it off and watch all my water level and they were all fine. my cooling fan just wouldn't spin no more, a friend told me that you could make a switch to it to turn the fan on and off, but he don't know how to do that either. anyone know?

check your thermostat before you replace the fan switch, but you can get another fan switch from honda. go here.
www.hondaautomotiveparts.com oh and a side note, has civicland ever looked into getting a discount with these guys maybe doing some advertisement for them?

to wire a switch to your fan all you have to do is find a 12volt source connect to the switch. run another wire to the power wire of your fan switch. then find a ground and connect to the switch. now all three are connected to your switch. if you did it correctly it should cut on whenever you flip the switch.
