I read my codes with my code reader and got a
P1336 which is 'Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation Sensor Intermittant Interruption ' Any idea waht it will be besides the crankshaft position sensor? Some people are telling me O2 Sensor but that puppy is $565.99 at work...So if anyway has had this code, what did ya do to fix it? thanks by the way it's a 1999 Honda Civic EX Thanks in advance for the help -Jon |

hondaautomotiveparts.com carries both o2 sensors for $183.78 each although you could probably go down to your local auto parts store and find it cheaper |

If the code you got was for a Crank position sensor, your o2 sensor isn't the problem.

Remember that most local auto parts stores will require the core part for these prices. |

I've got a '97 Civic EX and a couple days ago my MIL came on and I got the P1336 code also.
I cleared the code with the scanner and haven't gotten anything since. I'd still be interested in an answer of some kind if someone out there happens to know what this code means. |
