Azenis aren't supposed to be good in drag racing at all due to a very stiff sidewall, which is good for autocrossing.

oh my bad i didnt realize what u needed the tire for at the moment. u already said the nitto 555 are awesome and i heard the same only other suggestion is i think bf goodrich makes a drag tire for the street. its probally expensive tho

dude bfgoodrich is supposed to make a sick street drag tire. i forget what its called tho, maybe like gforce t/a or something. im not really sure but its supposed to be sweet!

Yeah, BF's are this shiznit. When I DO pick up the second set of wheels for racing I'm putting the BF G-force drag radials on it. The reviews say that you'll spin your clutch before you'll spin these tires!
They also make a few versions of the g-force tires though. The Kumho MX's I bought are the same as the g-force t/a KDW's or something like that. Same tread style, same purpose... but like 30 bucks less per tire for the kumho's and they have higher treadwear! I've heard so much about kumho being such a good tire and still sooo cheap in price, I had to give them a try. |
