ok its not on my 95 civic, but my ladys 95 accord 4dr automatic... Her key is stuck in the ignition.

I told her to turn the car on, run through every gear in the tranny, back to park and try to remove it but its not a parking indicator. Theres no release switch that i know of for accords, Turning wheels nothing...I dont wanna strip the ignition inside and fuck anything up since that piece is around $200 any ideas on what can be done.

oh and as for now, the key is left in there of course and she took her alarm remote off to get in and out...Her car is flipped out and all so I dont want it getting stolen. Its all she has, any ideas?

I have the opposite problem in my Nissan. I can start the car and remove the key while the car still runs. How about that, eh?

that sucks too.. I wish it was her alarm rather than the freakin ignition. The alarm is a simple fix, possibly free. If i cant get this key out then thats a big bill.

I have to help her with since she doesnt have the money being shes living on her own, I have the money for a mechanic to fix it...but I dont wanna have to resort to throwing it in a shop

Finally I got to actually see the car and try and work on it a bit and Its 1 goes like this...

0.............................I................... ..........II
.........................stuck here............................

I can only turn her car on from the second notch and the key wont turn all the way back so it can release.. i yanked the shit out of it and it wont budge a bit. I dont wanna force it since it seems jammed pretty bad, so what would jam a key in electrical mode?

try getting some dry graphite lube into there. you might try calling honda as well. is it a honda key that is stuck or a generic one you would get at a hardware store?
