Hid Kit

i have the silverstars in my car and they burn at like 4000k and they say regular halogens are around 3000k so idk about cooking your hosuing with the 12000k hid's. with even the less bright 12000k hid's are about 2times brighter than halogens. where as the 3000k are about 3times brighter. and my silverstars with the stock headlights are pretty bright so u def will be emiting one hell of a beam through your projectors. with the hid's

hehehehe Im between blue and a violet purple..Purple will emit more light, while blue is more or less manly haha.

There is an aqua blue sort of a babybrightblue. as well. Any opinions on blinding some fuckers?

since you are pretty committed to your car, spend the extra money and get the catz h1 hid kit. i bought a used 'misterjung' kit off of ebay that worked fine for me but I only had my hids for 3-4 months before i sold my civic. maybe charles can tell you how they have held up for the guy that bought my car. IMO hids have just become a must have modification. I want them in the z bad but i don't want to spend any money outside of maintenance on my dd/beater. I don't drive it at night much anyways.

$260 used off ebay w/ 4 HID capsules. it was an h1 kit w/ hella ballasts. oh, and i sold two of the capsules on ebay for $70 so I guess technically I got it for $190.

you sold them cheap, some of the capsules are going for $120 that ive seen. Im gonna look into a camelian colored kit. Hard to find other than dealers but its possible.

might have to buy the capsules i want separately if i dont run into them online. Im referring to the one thats blue, green, purple, white.. a blend of light mixed together. Cheapest Ive seen thats close to it is $350, Im staying on it though.
