Well my car idles very low i'd say around 600 rpm, and when i turn on the air conditioning, it drops a little lower then to about the same idle. It's a pain to drive with it idling soo low with the AC on, i have to give it more gas or work the clutch to drive it smoothly.
I tried raising the idle higher like they said in the Haynes Manual, by disconnecting the IAC valve, and screwing the screw counterclockwise on the throttle body. It's all the way out and still idling that low, all the way in , and it idles to like 350 rpm or something ridiculous.

Any clues to why it won't idle any higher ??
thanks,
JDK

Probably just need a tune up. The drop in RPMS is normal when you turn your AC on. As long as they rise again after a couple seconds.

Also it could be your IAC but check for regular maintenance items first.

You also might want to check your ignition timing.
