will a d16y7 head bolt up to a d15 crx block? would i need to change the cam from the d15 head to the d16 head? will the crx intake mani bolt up to the d16 head? or will this be a direct swap with nothing to change? i know this is pointless but one of my friends want to get a few more hp out of his 92hp motor, and i just so happen to have an extra y7 head layin around that i got from someone on here. i need whatever info you give cuz he is wanting to do this soon. should be an easy $100 for me if it works right. please help.

the head itself should bolt up, although the manifold probably wont

yeah the manifold will bolt up also...all intakes are the same on d series. which is why people will take a y8 manifold and put it on d15b's al the time. basically everything will bolt up...the swap will work and youll probably gain all of like 2hp.

well thats what i told him it's a waste of time but he wants it so he's gonna get it. which cam would be better for the swap, using the d15b2 cam or the d16y7 cam? or are they the exact same?
