Yea, and it only seems to be getting worse. It's happening almost every time I go from 1st to 2nd. I'm just going to go from 1st to 3rd until the new tranny is in.

Happens to my friends 98 ex as well, popped out on my 3 times in 10mins.. fuckin annoying. His solution was holding it in gear.
 . Check www.craigslist.org for a used tranny. Theres shitloads just being parted out. |

yeah, mine's not that bad though... it'd pop out sometimes when i was accelerating moderately hard... but it only happens every once in a while, so i'm not too worried. I think part of my problem is not putting it all the way into second... but yeah, if it keeps happening I'll look into a new transmission, b/c that's what I figured it was.

I'm only in 2nd for a couple of seconds anyway. Yet it scares the bajebus out of me when it pops out. lol
