so i just purchased my ngk iridium plugs from a local store. just curious if anyone has them. do u like them? notice any changes, my car had the platnum plugs from the factory so i went one step up from that for performance reasons. i figured it would help. now my question is when i replace them, what do i torque the plugs down to. and is there anything special that i need to do when un installing the old plugs and installing the new ones. any help is greatly appreciated

Make sure you gap the plugs according to spec, and torque the plugs down hand tight, and then a touch further.

yeah I have the iridium ones. I don't really notice anything maybe a little better gas mileage, but I do know that it is a better plug than the platinums.

depends which plugs you buy, the higher end ones are pre gapped for your application.

if their not gapped buy a feeler gauge or whatever it's called (punch of little peices of metal to change sizes) then just cross reference the manual for what gapping you need then use that feeler to get the probe to that point
