I need a new alternator as my battery died on me WHILE i was driving on 495 last night...
Anyone know the easiest way to do this? and possibly provide pics for me? Thanks! Edit: Forgot Its a D15B7 in a 1992 civic LX

It's pretty simple...unplug the battery, disconnect the cable to the alternator, loosen the bolts, take off the belt, remove alternator...reverse the steps to put it back in.

Yeah it's pretty straight forward, disconnect the negative terminal on the batt. Undo the plug and power wire from the alt. Take the top bolt out and tap the alt towrads the motor to loosen the belt, Take the belt off. Then undo the bottom bolt and take the alt out. Install is the opp as removal.
