I'm going to help my niece do some maintenance on her 99 Civic 4 cyl with 105k miles so get ready for alot of questions!
There are three lines going to the bottom of the radiator. One, of course, is the lower radiator hose. The other two are much smaller lines which connect to the radiator via metal bushings which thread into the plastic radiator bottom header. These connecting bushings are badly rusted. Questions: What is the function of these two lines? Can I get replacement connecting bushings or do I have to get a whole new radiator? Thanks. |

The connection immediately to the left of the lower radiator hose outlet and the first connection coming from the left bottom edge as you move to the right.
