Installed the 1.5 in my 88 CRX today, but we can't get the engine to fire. The CRX sat for at least 1 1/2 years before today without running so that was our next step was to drain the tank. Any other ideas? Then engine cranks just fine. There is spark at the spark plugs. We just called it a day and will try again tomorrow. Any help would be great.

Check you compression and fuel.Take the fuel line off of the fuel pressure regulator turn the key and see if fuel comes out.Make sure your main relay is coming on.All kinds of stuff
