I have a 92eg8 and when I put the front bumper of the body kit on, it does not fit unless I take the bumper support off. Do you have to take that off with any body kit or is mine just cheap. And if so I dont want to give up safety for looks.

This is why body kits are shitty.
Nothing better than an OEM fit.

no not the foam thing the metal bar that the supports the bumper. I think body kits are just for show not for every day driving

fiberglass or polyurethane? i can't imagine it would require you to take the bumper support out. mine didn't, although i had to trim it a bit. it's impossible to say what the best course of action is without seeing it in person.

mine is fiberglass, and I got it from a place in FL. It was 300 dollars

with the bumper support one side was fine and the other was not. It was like it was to small

I put on an aftermarket OEM bumper on my EG. I started ripping my hair out because it wouldn't fit right with that piece of foam in there. So I took it out and it looks and fits great.

...but you're talking about the bumper support ... Toss the fiberglass and get an OEM bumper from certafit.com, then get a carbon type s lip.

The CF lips can be durable and they are very easy to install. Below is the mugen style lip. You can also get an ABS plastic lip from K2. This URL takes you to the picture:
