Re 1999 Civic w/105k miles.
Valves have never been adjusted. I can tell they need adjusting by their sound but the car seems to be running fine. Will I get any benefit from adjusting these valves other than a quieter engine? |

i actually have a question to go along with this. how much would a valve adjustment cost? at a honda dealer ofcourse.

No clue. Call and ask. My speed shop guys charge between $40-75.

you mean adjusting the valve clearances? If so, that's easily done by hand, no need for a shop to do it.
