B18b1 Head On A B18a1 Bottom End?

Heres a stupid question I should already know. But I dont wanna do something well...stupid. Other than the obvious obd2-obdo, would it be cool to put a b1 head on a1 block? Or would it be wise to just stick with a b18a1 head? I dont see why it would matter, but I just wanna make sure. Would I get the 10hp im missing too? Thanks.

the heads are physically identical..the only differences are the injectors and the manifold is a tiny bit different...Your not going to notice any diffrence.

Cams, and ECU programing. injectors run with no resistor pack, even thought that doesn't matter. a few other thing that just have to do with timing. you can get that extra 10 no problem. If you need any stock b1 part let me know i have a shit load of stock parts that are just going ot go in the trash if i don't get ride of them soon because i sik of looking at them on my deck.

Well I bought a b1 head on ebay, so pointless or not im ganna go ahead and put that on. Im planning on boosting later and i want to make sure everything is in tip top shape since I really don't know the history on my motor.m ganna replace the t-belt, water pump, headgasket, do arp headstuds, and thiers a striped header bolt anyways. I also wanted the newer valve cover (yea I know I didnt need the new head for that lol).

umm actually you just need the newer valve cover for that...and then...theres a pcv on the valve cover with the newer style that you will either have to plug...or plug the one coming off the back of the block...those are your only choices.

Yea, I know I didnt need the new head for the valve cover.
