I just swap back in my dx motor cause I have to smog at the end of the month. The dx motor is all stock with a ex manifold. I needed the map sensor from the ex manifold. For some reason I took the map sensor off my car when I swap in the b20(Yes, I know that wasn't very clever). After the dx swap, it wouldn't start. I've check the battery and starter and they were fine. I push start it(putting the car in gear and stepping on clutch while catching speed) and the engine turned on but the idle jumped straight to 5000rpm and emitted a huge amount of white smoke. I don't know much about cars and would like all the information I can get.

So you have no MAP sensor... and you have to push start the car to get it to start?

Check grounds between the frame rail and the trans for one thing. make sure its there, attached, and clean contact. Second, umm. why did you remove the MAP sensor again? and sounds to me like you might have several issues on your hand...
