alright. so i have a 97 LX sedan. automatic. couple months ago my tranny started slippign REAL bad to the opint where everytime i came to a complete stop, and tried to go again, itd slip for about 2-3 seconds straight before grabbing and going. so i went down to honda, they replaced it. somewhere around 600 bucks..said something about somehing falling apart inside of it. ok. i get it back and for about 3-4 days it is fine, then it starts slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. its on warranty so i took it back down and they had to replace it again, whole new tranny. 2nd new one. i get it back and the fucking thing slips between 1st and 2nd, like if i coast through a turn and hit the gas again, itll slip then catch and go. its pissing me off, im sick of it.
what other problems can be associated with this? cause when i go back down there i want to know as much as possible. maybe if i red flag something, theyll look at it and do the job right. its fucking ridiculous, i have ALOT of high connections in that place and if they are dicking around with me, somebody is going to get fired. so. any advice would be good. thanks.

Could be a problem with the shifter cable binding up and pulling it into neutral under certain load conditions (like turning or braking). That's about all I can think of... I think you'd be right to question whether they actually replaced your transmission. Ask to see the two they supposedly pulled out.

if you ask me i think $600 bucks is too cheap for a dealer. now if you have a hookup then the cost is good. as for the trans can you see any yellow marker type writings on it? this is usually from a junkyard or some write maint record on it. as for it being new tranny strongly dont think so. maybe it was just laying round the shop sometimes dealers have these so called leftover parts from someone elses car. this and the last tranny could have been someone elses problems. i dont think most dealers actually rebiuld tranny's they send them out but i could be wrong. before you bring the car back put a mark on the tranny somewhere you will remember. then when they fix it you can tell if they replaced it. also ask to see the one they removed and check it for your mark.
