Check Engine Light On On A 1996 Honda Civic Lx Automatic With 191000 M

Hi ppl

I am new to this site and I have a 1996 honda civic LX automatic all stock no mods. And the check engine light came on I unpluge the battery and change the spark plugs but still the cel is on. I also have 191000 miles on it so no luck for me to take it to the stealership to have a free severice so I decided to take to autozone to have them check it with there scaner and it read 02 101 sensor which is the front sensor and the autozone rep. told me its the oxgen sensor 02 the front need to be replace. Now my question could he be right because I am not sure if I read the scanner right but he did tell me and show me its the front oxgen sensor . Now is this autozone rep. be right ? or could it be another problem and if I do replace the front oxgen sensor 02 and the cel still comes on what else could be the problem.
