soundslike either your oil pump took a dump on you or your oil is REALLY REALLY OLD!

sounds remedial but make sure you actually have enough oil, too little and vtec wont build enough oil pressure to engage vtec

You are lucky regardless. Every honda ive seen, once the oil pressure light is on, you are too late and have done the damage already. You have no knocking? CHECK YOUR OIL

Change oil and filter like everyone said.

But also check/change your VTEC solinoid (sp)

one of three things...

1) you have old oil/not enough oil/no oil

2) your VTEC solinoid filter screen is clogged and needs to be cleaned

3) your oil pump is no longer working up to specs and needs to be replaced imediatly
