I need to get my transmission fluid changed and was reading in my honda book. It says I need to use Honda fluid. Is this just a bunch of bs or is there something special about Honda fluid. If i bring it to a trany shop will they use honda fluid or should i go to a honda dealership to get it done?

its just oil. It doesn't matter where you take it to get it done.

If your car's an Auto - You must use different Tranny oil.
but on manuals you can use regular oil... Just go with the 5w-30 like Smooth_imports said.. |
