The drivetrain on its own will swap in with no issues. All the JDM Civics are RHD, and where do you think most people import their swaps from? The cluster till plug right in too. As long as you're not trying to convert your car to RHD, you'll be fine. It's a standard swap.

good deal cause he is asking 2800 for the whole half cut good deal or not? i even saw a video of the motor running and shit and it looks strong as hell. should i do the rhd conv would it be worth my time cause there arent a lot of eg hatches that pull up and you see rhd converted but i dont know if its even legal in the states to drive on the right side and i dont know if i could get used to it or not

Check your local DMV/ state Vehicle laws. It should be legal since your not the first one with the brainstorm to do a RHD conversion on a civic, but check first.

If your unsure about "getting used to it" or even think it is worth the time, then don't do it.

$2800 for a running half cut is a pretty good deal. You're not just getting the engine- you're getting all the wiring, any extra parts you need, suspension etc. I'd go for it.

RHD should be legal just about everywhere. Getting "used to it" isn't a big deal- the only thing that's really different is the hand doing the shifting, and that only takes about 15 minutes to feel normal.

As for difficulty of performing the conversion and the possiblity that you're going to make the car unsafe after swapping firewalls- I wouldn't do it. It's really not worth it, especially when you take into account conveniences like drive throughs, mailboxes at the post office, seeing oncoming traffic to pass on a single lane highway etc. Just keep it left hand drive.

I'd still buy the whole clip- just don't do the RHD conversion. Buying the whole clip makes sure that you get everything you need (more than just the drivetrain anyway) for your swap, and also gives you a better chance to have everything intact and working.
