I HAD A 92 EG HATCH WITH A 98 JDM INTEGRA TYPE R MOTOR IN IT. I RAN 14 FLAT ALL DAY. I TOOK THE MOTOR OUT AND PUT IT IN A 2000 EK HATCH. I RAN IT LAST NIGHT AND I RAN 14.9. I AM REALLY DISSAPOINTED. I HAVE NO CODES AND I DONT UNDERSTAND. MY FRIEND HAS A U.S. GSR IN A 96 HATCH AND HE RUNS 14.5. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?

DESCENT DRIVER STOCK HATCH WEIGHT, CONDITIONS OK.


MY 92 HATCH WAS THE SAME, FULL INTERIOR, EVERYTHING.I JUST DONT SEE HOW THEY CAN BE A SECOND APART?

SAME ECU, NOT EXHAUST BUT I DONT THINK EXHAUST MAKES A SECOND DIFFERENCE?

But you have to take the weight difference into consideration. Depending on trim level you could be 400 pounds heavier. If your exaust is more or less restrictive it could have a small effect like a .10+ of a second. So it could be a combination of the those two factors. Do a tune up, than go to the track again to see if your numbers improve. Have you had the 2000 for a while?

no just a month,but i went from 3 inch TYPE ONE exhaust to 2 1/4 N1.

also what tires/wheels were you running...that would make a difference as far as size and type of tire.
