I purchased a skunk2 mega-power exhaust from Jo-Tech motor sports on 6/13/2003?At the beginning I was very happy with the exhaust it sounded sweet and even got 2 friends to get one as well. Well a few weeks ago I hear this rattling noise so I look under my car, tighten all the nuts and thought my problem was fixed?still a annoying rattling noise?so I took my exhaust off a few minutes ago...my first piece from my cat to the mid section is ratting inside my resonator?like something inside is chipped off...man it gets loud and annoying
and suggestions? |

IMO just take it to a reputable shop in your area and have them look at it. If you take it in off the car it will be cheaper also.
Exhaust noises like this are hard to fix on your own unless you get lucky and whatever it is will fall out if you turn the pipe up vertical.

If you know for sure it is something inside the resonator that fell off, call the people you purchased it from. There is no sense spending money to have it fixed while it is under warranty.
