Hi everyone, I have a '91 civic dx and I have been noticing here lately that when I drive the car at normal speeds I get this hesitation and sluggish feel and I couldn't decide if it was the fuel system or the distributor going bad. Are there some things I could do to check to rule out one or the other? Also, I had replaced the ignition module about 2500 miles ago.

Maybe you are in too high of a gear for the RPMs of your engine. OR like the problem i had the spark plug wires were arching before getting a proper spark to the plugs. You can check that by, popping your hood pulling out the wires one by one, hold them near a metal surface like your engine block. Turn off the lights and have someone crank the engine to see if you see any sparking along the wire or boot.

When was your last tune-up? Have you changed the fuel filter? Have you checked your timing? How about the air filter?
Any of these and many more can cause a lack of power/performance so I wiuld start with the easy ones like the tune up, air filter and that stuff. If you need more information or a guide PM me.
