This is whats happening. While i'm driving in any gear when i let off the gas i hear and can feel a clunk clunk clunk. If i coast in nuteral it doesn't happend and if i'm in gear and my foots on the gas it doesn't happend either. If i'm in gear and coasting it's kinda load and i can feel it in the steering wheel. If i hit the brake it kinda stops but not really but once i ger down to 5mp i gets load again. Anyone have any clue what it could be. Is it the axles. Thats the only thing i can come up with because it seams when ever there is presure up front (weither gas or braking prusure) its not really there but when i'm coasting in gear it bad.

Could be your exhaust, the engine should rock a bit when you decellerate making the the exhaust thump the undercarriage a few times if it is too close. In neutral the engine isn't fighting anything so no thump. The axles should still make noise if the car is in neutral. It could also be a broken or loose motor mount.

I thought is was a mount at first but it speeds up and slows down with the rotation of the wheels!

Good luck and no throwing tools, they are innocent and not responsible for the problem. :P

it's for sure not your axle though? I had a friend where it only made the popping sound when he was turning, then it started to make the noise at acceleration and then most of the time. We replaced the axle and the noise was gone.

dosnt really sound like an axel problem.

have you ever heard a bad axel? they have a very distinct sound. as for your problem, could be your exhaust. mine does the same thing, its like it inhales when you let off the gas, only in gear though.
