Does anyone know how to trick the car into thinking it still has an airbag after you take it out? I want to shut off the SRS light, but not ...

Does anyone know how to trick the car into thinking it still has an airbag after you take it out? I want to shut off the SRS light, but not just take out the bulb or fuse.
There's a trick on jumping a couple wires or something so the car thinks that the airbag is still there. I saw it on a del sol at www.geocities.com/TeamsolOntario/steering.htm, but the del sol had a different plug then mine so I don't think it would be the same. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd rather know for sure befor I waste time trying.

You could always cut the plug off the bsck of the old wheel and plug it in that should do it. Or just take the light out like was said before.

Wow, you guys read as shitty as I do! LOL! I said I don't want to take out the bulb. But about the cutting off the plug, I don't think that would make a difference since you're not touching the wires, you'd just be capping off the male plug. There should be a certain couple of wires that should be jumped to each other, right?

Use a test light to see which wire(s) are hot and ground them, for every hot wire at the plug there should also be a ground so jump those together and that should do it. I dont have my helms right here or Id see if I could tell you the wire color combos.
