For the H22 swap i have read multiple times that you can use the 90-93 teg axles. (i am using ls axles, although i think they are all the same)
so two questions: first is i cannot get the pass side to lock in. the male part that goes into the tranny is 1/8 inch shorter than the prelude one that was in there. the spline is the same. any ideas. and is it safe to drive around without that locked in there for the time being. till i get a fix anyway. second, does anyone know if there is any difference between the ABS axles and if so, what it is? im wondering if the ABS ones will fit better.... guessing no. i have had more trouble with axles than any other aspect of this swap. thanks

I believe you have to unbolt the prelude splines from the cv joint and bolt it to the integra axle's cv joint. I wouldn't drive it without the axle being locked in to place. It is possible for it to work itself out of the differential and loose some tranny oil and make the car not move. The only difference between the abs axle and the non abs axle is the ring for the abs sensor. I would just use the one that is in stock at the store. If they have both, get the non abs one and use your old d series axle for a core.

I know that you do need to use the Prelude splines but as far as wether or not they unbolt I'm not sure. If they dont then you need to remove the cv boot and while clamping the whole shaft in a vice with the end you are removing down take a hammer and a block of wood and hit the edge of the CV joint so that the end with the correct spline comes off the joint. It will come off but it may take several solid blows, use teh block of wood and put it in between the hammer and joint so as not to damage the actual joint.
