im with comutek. vti is equivelant to what usdm or jdm prelude? i know when i was in taiwan i saw vti civics and shtuff (although they are big on just slappin stickers on cars. did you know they make v-6 civics? ahhaaha stupid) but i dont know what thore are like here in the states.
anyway... i am guessing that since it is a 2.2L it is either the f22 or h22. if it is an h22, its doable. i (almost) did a swap all by mylsef, and im no gearhead. oh, and im assuming you are working with a fifth gen as a platform to work from. any more questions just mail or msg me or something, i can tell you what i know. but please figure out what motor that is first. check the engine code.

HELL of a lot of work.
you have it in already? mine is just about ready to go back on the street. im getting some custom custom axles cause my car is weird. for some reason the standard h22a civic axles wont work. i guess this affects something like one out of every 100 of these swaps. but the new ones get here next thurs or fri. then its time to break that puppy in.
