performance wise I think LS/VTEC
My friends ALL MOTOR LS/VTEC ran 12.4 and 12.5 all day on a 98 coupe with just no backseat yesterday at Moroso's Sport Compact nationals. He built this motor with about $5,000.
I have yet to see a type r on a civic doing those times on a coupe with interior.
