ok i just recently found a 5thgen hatch that im going to get and i plan to put a b20 or what not in it.. does anyone know where i can puchase a b20 if not bigger and prices?? also anyone with experince with the swaps what kind of diffaculty am i lookin at....im lookin for jdm motors

wow another B20 topic. I don't know where to get engines for cheap, but I do know that the JDM B20 and USDM B20 are pretty much, if not exactly the same thing. They put out the same power, so I'd go with a USDM motor.

well, they don't put out the exact same power. the b20z has a slightly higher compression ratio than the b20b making more hp/tq.

aiight shit or or even a b18 gsr motor would be good.
i was lookin at streetimports.com and they want like 3000 straight from japan but thats fukin expensive

actually I was referring to USDM/JDM not Z/B =P. USDM B20Z = JDM B20Z and USDM B20B = JDM B20B i believe. you're right about the different engines though. an extra 19 horses on the B20Z.

so you are swappin, and doing it with a honda. expect to pay out the ass unless you have a good deal/hookup. sorry to say this, but thats just how honda's are. fun but expensive projects. DO NOT compare what you spend on a honda to what you would spend on a v-8. my friend fully built a b-8 for about half of what i spent on my motor. just the facts of life.

Just make the extra cash you spent with gas milage . Heh but really, ...it really does take alot less to make a ...-decent- domestic to run fast..my buds been pointing out this one chevelle that...I'm thinken about getting ...heh I wanna rock that.
