I wouldn't worry too much about revving higher, especially if you're boosting with all stock internals. The engine has enough problems breathing at higher revs, so just force feed it more air at stock speeds. I'm sure your buddy will be more than happy.

Well if they can swap a 4G63 (Eclipse Turbo) from a fwd platform to a rwd Mitsu Might Max Truck, Im sure its possible. Good luck with that, and post some pics when its done.

On a side not, I just completed the first stage of my 4G63 in to 86 Mirage Project, I got the 1.6 SOHC Turbo motor out of the mirage, and Im starting to pull the motor outta my eclipse. WOOT WOOT!!!

Thanks but no thanks, haha

D. decided to scrap the nissan project and instead just bought an 89? rustang 5.0 from us were I work.
It's sick and will def. give the new rex a run for the money!

This should be good . . .

Cobra-R vs. Type-R

We'll see!

Sellout! :P j/k! I almost bought an 83 carburated 5.0 cause I didn't want to drive my civic to work anymore but that's when I found the B16 clip with a good price so I swapped instead. But man, there was nothing like just sitting in the stang in neutral and revving heavy. It was like a boat in rough water- When you hit the pedal the whole car would just rock back and forth! I still want to restore an old vette though, 68-72 with the chrome bumpers and bigger engines.
