Well she runs again (knock on wood). my wiring was all FUBAR and the car should not have run last monday. at all. still have an O2 sensor error and one other im not sure about. but at least she finally runs. coolent leak too... guess i dont have the hose tight enough. =/ now it has to cool down enough for me to reach down there and fix it.

anyway just sharing and this time i will have pictures. (tomorrow mid afternoon!!) even if it decides not to run again.

Why did the Grizwold's have to drive to Wally World?

Because Clark said "getting there is half of the fun"!

I know it sucks dropping a new motor only to have all these problems, but you can't say your not grateful for all of the things that you learned in the process!
I know I am!
But glad to hear she's alive.

I agree with that post 100%. I've encountered many problems in the past when working on something that was new to me. Learning what I did wrong or fixing an unforseen problem that had occurred is great. I luv learning as I go . . it's never simple, haha

i hate running into problems. nothing makes me feel better than a totally smooth install of a new part/component on my car. when things aren't lining up, i'm splicing wires, and i've got the dremel tool out at 2 AM in the morning, learning is the last thing on my mind.

hahaha, i couldnt agree more with that comutek. but, lets face it, with no wrench time in before and whatnot, getting things to work at all is a major accomplishment. and it im working at 2 am, my car is trembeling cause everyone knows i cant do anything at that time.
