The car: 91 crx

The motor: b16a

The plan - I'm taking the turbo set up off and running it n/a durring the winter.
I have to get a header for it by the end of the week though so it'll move.

The header is only for winter so I'd like to go cheap cheap cheap . . like e-gay ish for now . . . that's it.

I just can't find one guarenteed to fit.

Some say "crx si" but that dosn't help . . .
Others say "all civic/crx" that dosn't help . . .

Now I'm being told that I have to use one for a delsol ? ? ?

I'm lost . .

Someone . . or all of you if you want . . .

give me a word of advise on this . . I'm about ready to throw something!

Thanks for the help.

Use one for a b16. CRX headers will be for a single cam.

i dont get it, for a b16 you need an si header. you know this. isnt that all you need to know? it will bolt up to your cat wont it? or is it just too long? got to a machine shop, or even muffler place and have them make you a test pipe so that it will fit correctly (ie, length and bolt pattern). remember, its only for the winter.

Dane - actually, I'm just looking for a temp. header/manifold for the b16.

I can only find headers for "si" sohc's though . . since mine's a dohc, those won't work . . *flanges I think!

I found another guy selling this --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33631

as of now, I'm the highest bidder.
Hopefully it'll work . . I have no clue.
for that price, I can make it work if I need to , lol

Thanks again guys.

Your only problem you might run into would be it not mounting to the cat (different size flange), but that is cheap to fix

What kind of gains should you expect for an aftermarket b16 header? Because after looking at the OEM one I was pretty impressed in it's size and all. I know a header on a D series gives a great difference but when I've seen tests for the B series it didn't seem worth the money to spend because they were already great performers.

Any thoughts?
