I need help real quick...no time to search the web for info!! will the engine from a 93 civic SI fit in my 93 del sol s??? This civic si is wrecked and the guy is looking to get rid of it!!! It doesn't look like he knows what he has!!! What other parts will fit my sol? Rear disc brakes? Front and rear lower control arms with sway bars? My main concern here is the engine. Is it a direct bolt in? Do I need the ECU from the SI? Do I need a VTEC solenoid or something? Do I need the axles from the SI? Will they fit perfectly in my sol? THANKS any help will be greatly appreciated!

yes it will fit. yes you will need the ECU. the vtec syl, will already be on the si head. look on the back of the top left coner it should be there. but you do realize that you will only be gain about 20HP right.

if your gettin it cheap enough go for it. but theres other swaps out there that will give you better gains.

Are there any dohc VTEC engines that will drop right in with no mods or VERY LITTLE mods? I am not well equipped for major mods...however I can swap an engine in and out with little problems. THX

since you got a del sol, through in a b16 or any other b-series for that matter. you could prolly get away without a mount kit. better off with one though. and you may have to make a linkage if you dont want to buy a custom one. should work without all that much "custom" stuff.
