i recently ran across a website and on it was a vtec conversion kit used for ls/vtec and cr/vtec motors. tell me what all of you think. heres the link.

http://www.robearracing.com/pd_golde..._full_vtec.cfm

is this worth the money or should someone just have a machine shop do it? and also, how do you think this thing would work under boost?

I dunno man, I've heard that with the frankensteins, the head tap really needs to be as accurate as possible. I plan on a CRVtec soon, but I don't think that is something I would be willing to try on my own. The slightest error and all of a sudden you need a new head.

I'd try it myself, there's not all that much involved. And the kit looks pretty tight. I'd say go for it. All you have to do is tap the head, after that it's all bolt on.

It seems like a real nice setup. It is definitly more money than pieced together DIY setup, but I really do like the oil supply setup since it saves the hassle of brass t-fittings that most people use.
