Hello everybody my engine just blew and I'm in desperate need for a swap. A few of the engines I have been considering are:

H22
b16a

I drive a 1999 Civic EX with vtec
Heres my question: I went to www.hmotorsonline.com and saw this http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/s...page&item=30003

The link that I posted is this B16 but it says its from the older integras. Will it still work fine just like the other b16s?
So is that engine out of a 93 integra? Is it a good b16?

Another question somebody may be able to answer. Is it really that hard to swap the h22 in a 99 civic? Ive know you need motor mounts but do you really have to fabricate the power steering and A/C to make it fit? If so what exactly do you fabricate? LOL. Well I really need to know the answer tp some of these questions as I am in hurry to get the right setup so me and my dad can put it in.

gonna be a great project for you and your dad.. i wish mine was involved in mine.

but the h22a will be hard doing a swap for the first time. Best thing to do is get a obd1/2 b16 for your 99 this means 92-00 b16 with a hydraulic transmission (as aposed to cable trans)

Does your dad have any experience in this? If not I probably wouldn't attempt the H22 swap just yet. It's a little more advanced from what I've learned. The B16 is a great and very responsive motor, I think you'll be happy with the difference.

I'd get a B20 over a B16 anyday.

I would go with a b-series for your first swap, IMO. The H would be worth it once you are done, but will take some more work. I personally like the b18c for a swap due to the extra hp and torque over the b16 (must be why I went with that swap) The b16 swap that you linked would not be a wise choice since it is almost 10 years and 2.5 OBD versions older than your car.
