Ok as most of yo uknow i just got a 99ls swap. Now i'm trying to figure out what OBD ECU i have. Some people are telling me that in 99 they switch to OBD2B and other people are telling me they didn't change until 00. Can someone point me in the right direction so i don't start changing wires that don't need to be changed.

Ok so now i'm going to answer my own question.
If you look at the ECU and you see the 4 pocket openings.

If the first, thrird and last one are being used by the wireharness the it's OBD2

If the First, second and third are being used its OBD2B.

something doesn't seem right here.. oviously two sorces saying 00 was obd2b but i can't help but think they did the same for the teg that they did for the civ..unless they phased them to obd2b first.. cause like i said i was 2a
