I have a b18a bottom end that has been rebuilt with eagle rods, ITR oil and water pumps. I have my pistons ceramic coated on top with polymoly coated sides for friction. I have a 96 ls head with 99 civic b16 valve springs. The valves were done and the head has a very mild port job. I built the motor for a turbo but I am still waiting on the funds to by a manifold. Anyway the point of the topic, how high do you think I could safely rev this engine? I was thinking like 7500 - 7800 ? ? any info would be great.

Thanks Scott

8000-8200 i'd say you prob wont be producing much power after that anyway. No use saying in a gear your just reving out in.

The b16a I've got in my rex was heavily built up (b16b+)
Using the msd ign, the motor dosn't redline till' 9 grand.
I still don't see the point of pushing them that hard though.
