hey i just go an head off ebay and the dude told me it was off an 99 civic si but it had the black valvecover when i got it and it also had an obd1 distributor. also the number on the head is as followed PR3-3 please tell me what year and all the info that you can about this head thanks and email me sleepin_civic@juno.com

its an si head with an obd1 dizzy. the valve covers were black on the 99 si. is the vtec in bold or is the dohc bolder than the vtec? thats one way to tell the year of the valve cover

Valve Cover color doens't really matter,since it can easily be painted anyway.But only the ITR and CTR i beleive are red.
