Alrite,
First things first, My car is a 1999 UK EK4 jordan civic so i know it wont be the same as what u guys are used to but any help would be greatly appreciated! I want to convert my b16a2 to run with a dc2 integra type-r (again uk spec) head, i have read about some people doing this conversion and getting good power gains, and am thinking of doing it myself but obviously need to do a bit of research first on what i would need especially on the electronics front. I have only had the honda a week and a half and so havent had much experience of the mechanics of it yet, although i have been messing around with old minis for a few years so am not mechanically inept! Like i said, any help/info would be fantastic! Cheers! Graham.

head swap will work just fine.. you wont really need to change anything.. might want to try and find a good itr ecu (imobilizer taken off) so you can get a different fuel curve.
but other than that.. nothing a good vafc wont fix. no mod's really needed btw welcome from the other side of the pond |

I did an ITR head on a B16a2 earlier this year along with VAFC and an AEBS initake manifold. It did gain about 20 peak horspower and decent gains throughout the power range. The drawback is, the torque still was nothing to brag about. IMO, I would just sell the b16 and buy a b18c.

Depending on how much you spend on the head, you might be better off modding your b16 head or doing some internal work on the b16. just a though
