if i put an ITR head on my B16 what sort of power increase can be expected? oh, and will the redline raise to 8,600?? i might have the opertunity to buy one for $350. the kid needs money badly...

umm a b16 head and a type r head are nearly identical. the only difference would be the cams, and the minor porting they do from the factory. you might gain a little bit. ohh yeah i forgot one thing, they have dual springs all the way around.

and i dont think the ITR head is a direct bolt on to the b16 block.... is it?

Yes direct bolt on, i also found out there are differences in the valve seat cut, the valve guid cut. all in all, i was talking to my buddy and if you got the cams with it, and it is a true type r head you might notice a gain of between 15-20hp.

its a COMPLETE head. like i said, he needs money really bad. just keeping my fingers crossed that he sells..... TO ME!
oh, i thought the B16 intake manifold was very good flowing as well.. whatever, i dunno about the manifold.
