that my friend looks to me like and OBD 1 b16 well at least the manifold is that of a obd1 jdm b16 92-95

i can't see the distributor plug or a good angle of the tranny but that tranny almost looks cable to me.. deff not obd 2 though

yeah im thinking obd 0 is about the price of 1200 but you might have caught a good deal on obd 1

more i think about it.. i think it's a first gen obd 0 89-91

OF course he is going to say that!
But that motor looks suspisciously like the one that is in my 91 Crx,OBD0 B16a1

IF it has the cable tranny,then it is an OBD 0 (1st gen) b16a1.The other b16's (a2/a3s) have the hydraulic tranny.Same as said before,if you paid 1250 for it,chances are it is an b16a1 and not the b16a2.Plus that def looks like a first gen manifold.

well it's an auto so hes not going to be able to tell by the tranny.

I should read and look a little more thouroughly

I still stand by my previous post..it is a 1st gen b16.
Plus depending on what it is going into,you may need a converison kit,(cable to hydraul. or vice versa?)am i right?
