Dart and Spoon make crate motors. You can also check out Importbuilders, they can build you what you want.

importbuilders i think is yur best bet. but crate motoers are expensive i would just go with a used swap save some money .

Do you think you would spend more building your motor over time or just just buying an already built motor.

spend more for buying a built motor.. you have to pay for their labor.. you dont pay yourself to build your own

As far a sleeving, boring, port and polishing, I have no clue. My thoughts on building a motor myself is very iffy. I dont want to spend thousands of dollars on a motor and then blow it up by my lack of building skills. That is why I was curious about crate motors. Or atleast a decent motor shop that actually knows what they are doing. I see the prices for import builders and I was curious if those prices are high or decent prices?
