Is what tranny compatible? There is alot more to crvtec then just swapping a head onto the block. Make sure you read up on it before you dive in.

definately...the head must be tapped and plugged and you have to get an ls/vtec oil line kit, golden eagle makes a good one...then you have to wire in vtec, vtec oil pressure. you need an ecu...gsr most preferably or an obd1 p28 with hondata. Theres a lot more that goes into a ls/vtec or cr/vtec.

all b series parts can interchange with other b series...to a point....a b20 with a b16 head and type r cams would be the way to go..with a stock bottom end you would run some good times at the track
