i say ls on boost over a gsr on boost.

other ideas i have are like the others said b20 with the itr trans, or maybe an ctr swap and go n/a.
to you and nstygrnhatch Whats wrong with a gsr on boost? thats what i have and i have no probs with it at all...so i dont see why you would go ls with boost before gsr with boost. gsr with boost will make more power and thats probably what hes looking for.

thats totally wrong. unless you have a dif. tranny on there they are the same length. Im running a b16 int. shaft on my gsr with gsr trans. so i dont know what your talking about. the only time i ever had a prob. with an int. shaft was when i was for some odd reason a 91 ls int. shaft didnt fit on an ls motor...then we got an b16 int shaft and it fit. The ONLY dif. between an 99-00 si int. shaft and an older gsr int. shaft is the type of axles it takes...one is a female side intermediate shaft(the axles slides into the intermediate shaft, this is a 90-94 ls and gsr.) and the other is a male intermediate shaft, the int. shaft slides into the axle(99-00 si)

There's nothing wrong with a GSR on boost, the LS is just more cost effective...and if I was going to rebuild a motor for boost, I'd get as cheap a motor as possible and put in aftermarket stuff.

well it'll be a while before i actually get a swap. first i have to sell the integra, which hopefully won't take too long. right after that comes the hard part...finding a decent civic shell for around $2,000 or under. then the fun part...ordering the swap and having it installed.

if i was making my swap decision right now i'd be going with a b20z and gsr/itr tranny, if i can find a b20z that is. no luck yet.

nope...i'm nowhere near experienced enough to try that. i might do it if i had done it before. i can't be without a car for several weeks while i'm trying to get the motor in though, nor do i have the tools for the job.
